JP being thrown back

Hello! This is a picture I took of my friend levitating! You must be wondering, How is he doing that?

Well to start, he isn't actually levitating, so let me tell you how I took this picture. to start, the equipment that I used to take this and the next picture was, a tripod, a camera, and a computer with both lightroom and adobe photoshop installed.

Next, some things that I considered before taking the picture was the shadow, background and the setting. It is important to keep these in mind because a good shadow can really sell the illusion that the person is really floating.

The background is also extremely important because due to the edited pictures being put as layers in photoshop, it is important that the normal and background pictures are aligned perfectly, and it is very hard to do that when shooting in a certain setting.

Next, for these pictures in particular the only props used were stools and an umbrella for the picture here. However, it is ideal to shake things up in your pictures using props!

Overall, these two pictures worked extremely well and I am very proud of both, of course next time i do something like this id like to do something more unique with the picture, maybe do different poses or with the help of others, add extra things to the picture.
